Iniesta: Mourinho has damaged Spanish football (What do you have to say about this sport fans)

Andres Iniesta is the latest Barcelona star to have harsh words for former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, accusing him of harming the image of Spanish football.

Mourinho left Los Blancos three years before his contract was due to expire after a trophy-less season beset by infighting and controversy before returning to his former club Chelsea.

Speaking in an interview in Sunday's edition of El Pais, Iniesta heavily criticized Mourinho and the legacy he left at Real Madrid. He joinsXavi and Gerard Pique as the latest Barcelona players to comment this week on Mourinho's conduct while at the Bernabeu.

"You just have to look at the facts," Iniesta said. "Yes he damaged Spanish football, in general more harm than good.

"But I don't like talking about that person at all. So if you don't mind we'll leave it at that."

Mourinho and Iniesta have previously feuded in the media earlier this season when the Spain international criticized the former's decision to continuously overlook goalkeeper Iker Casillas. Mourinho responded with a jibe at Barcelona's reliance on Lionel Messi.

"[Iniesta] can think what he likes, but I would say to him that without Messi his team is so different and that is why they did what they did in the semifinals of the Champions League," Mourinho said at the time.
