Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears Respond to Jay-Z’s Twitter Shout-Outs

It's not everyday that Jay-Z connects with his fans one-on-one, but on Monday the rap superstar took to Twitter to answer questions and interact with fans, friends, and fellow celebs.
While the rapper born Shawn Carter waxed poetic about everything from his favorite cereal (Cap'n Crunch) to how he finds peace (through "acceptance"), he also gave shout-outs to Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus. Not surprisingly, the pop divas took notice, and chimed in on the conversation.
When someone asked Jay-Z whether twerking — the booty-shaking dance Cyrus does in her "We Can't Stop" video — should replace the electric slide at weddings, he responded "Personally???YES.. Miley is a GOD." Odds are good that there was a touch of sarcasm in his response, given that he mocks Cyrus for twerking in his new tune "Somewhere in America."
An avid Twitter user and always outspoken, Cyrus quickly piped up, "Call it what you want. But I don't see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you bitches out. #twerkmileytwerk ✌"
She added, "Exactly right. I am an old worlds worst nightmare. #outwiththeold #inwiththenewnew."
Hova also gave his two cents about Spears and sent some love her way when a fan asked him what his favorite Britney Spears song was. He responded, "Toxic.. jamming my G." When Spears caught wind of it, she was pleasantly surprised. "You learn something every day!" she Tweeted. "Never knew @S_C_ was a fan of Toxic! That's Big Pimpin ;)"

Jay-Z, who rarely uses Twitter, was doing some social media face time surrounding the release of his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Kanye West Lashes Out at Paparazzi: "Don't Talk to Me"

Kanye West is in no mood to play nice. The new father, who has been busy simultaneously looking after baby North West with girlfriend Kim Kardashian in Los Angeles and working on new material in Paris, lashed out at paparazzi at LAX on Friday, July 12, giving one photographer a dramatic earful.
The rapper, 36, was ducking out of a black car at the curbside in a casual grey hoodie and jeans as he made his way into the airport when a photographer started calling his name, telling Yeezy that he was a big fan.

"I appreciate it, but don't talk," West responded with a deadpan expression as he tried to cover the camera lens. "I don't want to hear paparazzi talk to me or anybody I know. And tell everybody never talk to anyone that anyone knows."
When the photographer continued to follow West into the airport, the irritated rapper pushed the camera aside and stalked away toward his Atlanta-bound flight.

Several fellow passengers later tweeted about how West received "special treatment" boarding the Delta flight.
The Yeezus rapper was most recently in L.A. to spend time with Kardashian, 32, and his baby daughter North West, born five weeks early on June 15.

"Kanye, Kim and North always take naps together," a source told Us Weekly about the trio. "The three of them cuddle and just hang out."

Homeless Man Serves House Arrest On Pavement

A serial offender has been sentenced to house arrest by a Milan court – even though he is homeless.

At dusk every evening police arrive at the same spot, 22 Via Vittor Pisani, in front of the city’s Stazione Centrale, to ensure 48-year-old convict Domenico Codispoti is tucked up in – or, in the sweltering mid-summer heat, on – his sleeping bag on the pavement.
Codispoti, whose criminal record includes attempted robbery, petty theft and drug dealing, is obliged to stay put until 7am the next morning.
“I have always done my stealing at night,” he said.
That’s why the court gave me this sentence. Since I don’t have a house, there was no other solution. During the night I can’t move.”
The unusual form of incarceration was first imposed on Codispoti in 2006, when he was sentenced to two years of surveillance and house arrest.
But following further convictions, his sentence has been extended. He has now been ordered to sleep on the same bit of pavement until April next year.
“Once I went off to urinate but a police patrol arrived and stopped me.” He was accused of trying to escape house arrest and his sentence extended.
“I asked to go to jail,” he said. “At least there is a bed, a hot meal, and water to wash. But I’m not allowed.”
Codispoti once ran a bar in Tolmezzo, in the remote north-east Friuli area of Italy.
But after becoming addicted to drugs he lost his job and came to Milan as a vagrant and began a life of petty crime.
